According to film industry tracker Friday Matinee, "Kishkindha Kaandam" has become the highest-grossing film of Asif Ali's career in Kerala following the conclusion of its extended first-week run. The film is on track to achieve a remarkable milestone, with projections indicating that it will surpass ₹15 crores in gross earnings from Kerala for the first time in Asif Ali's career during today's box office performance. By the end of the second weekend, the film could potentially reach close to ₹25 crores in total gross, marking a significant achievement for both the actor and the production team.

Kishkindha Kaandam Synopsis

When a retired army officer's gun goes missing, his daughter-in-law decides to investigate, revealing hidden family secrets and the mysterious disappearance of her husband's son. As the authorities step in, the discovery of a monkey skeleton near the property and a photo of a monkey with the missing gun intensify the mystery, exposing unsettling connections to the family's dark past.

The film features Asif Ali, Vijayaraghavan, and Aparna Balamurali in leading roles, complemented by supporting performances from Jagadish, Ashokan, Nishan, Vaishnavi Raj, Major Ravi, Nizhalkal Ravi, Shebin Benson, Kottayam Ramesh, Bilas Chandrahasan, Master Aarav, and Jibin Gopinath.

Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan and produced by Joby George Thadathil for Goodwill Entertainments, the film has a screenplay, story, and dialogue penned by Bahul Ramesh, who also took charge of the cinematography. Sooraj E.S. handled the editing, while Mujeeb Majeed composed the music. Project design was overseen by Kaka Stories, with sound mixing managed by Vishnu Sujathan. The trailer was mixed by Balu Thankachan at 20db Black in Chennai, and audiography was done by Renju Raj Mathew.
