Kishkindha Kaandam Synopsis

When Appu Pillai (Vijayaraghavan), a retired army officer, discovers that his gun is missing, his son Ajay Chandran's (Asif Ali) new wife, Aparna (Aparna Balamurali), takes it upon herself to investigate. As she delves into the family's secrets, including the unexplained disappearance of Ajay's son, the authorities become involved. A skeleton, shot three years ago, is discovered near the officer's property, and a photographer captures an image of a monkey holding the missing gun. These shocking revelations further complicate the mystery, linking the missing weapon to the family's troubling history.

Kishkindha Kaandam Cast and Crew

The cast of Kishkindha Kaandam features a talented ensemble, including Asif Ali as Ajay Chandran K. V., Vijayaraghavan as Appu Pillai, and Aparna Balamurali as Aparna. Supporting roles are played by Ashokan as Sivadasan, Jagadish as Sumadathan, and Aarav as Chachu. Vyshnavi Raj portrays Pravina, while Shebin Benson takes on the role of Prasobh. Major Ravi appears as Jacob, and Nizhalgal Ravi plays Dr. Amrith Lal. Nishan is featured as Sudheer, Kottayam Ramesh plays DySP, and Arjun Radhakrishnan Ambat portrays a wildlife photographer. Shravan K. Dev completes the cast as a police inspector.

Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan and produced by Joby George Thadathil under Goodwill Entertainments, the screenplay, story, and dialogues are penned by Bahul Ramesh, who also served as the cinematographer. Sooraj E.S. handled the editing, while Mujeeb Majeed composed the music. Kaka Stories oversaw the project design, and sound mixing was done by Vishnu Sujathan. The trailer mixing took place at 20db Black in Chennai by Balu Thankachan, with audiography by Renju Raj Mathew. Bobby Sathyaseelan was the chief associate director, Sajeesh Thamarassery served as the art director, and Sameera Saneesh took charge of costume design. Rasheed Ahammed managed makeup, Rajesh Menon handled production control, and color grading was done by Srik Varier (POETIC). Pictorial FX provided the VFX, and Ads Of Ads managed the design. The music was released by Goodwill Entertainments, with Avenirtek Digital Private Limited as the digital partner.
