Lok Sabha Election 2024: BJP's Suresh Gopi Wins Thrissur Seat with 4,12,338 Votes, With this win, Bharatiya Janata Party has opened its account to the Lok Sabha from Kerala. Suresh Gopi defeated the LDF candidate, CPI's VS Sunilkumar, and the UDF candidate, Congress's K Muraleedharan.

Suresh Gopi's Response After Victory

Following his victory in the parliamentary elections, Suresh Gopi, the NDA candidate from Thrissur, expressed gratitude for what he described as a hard-fought battle. He attributed his success to divine intervention, stating that the gods had rewarded him for overcoming significant challenges.

Suresh Gopi claimed that he had faced personal attacks during the campaign. He emphasized that he had to swim against the current. According to Suresh Gopi, the people of Thrissur, whom he affectionately referred to as "Prajadaivangal" (Godpeople), recognized the truth and rejected the slanders.

He attributed his political party's success to divine guidance, believing that the gods had influenced voters' minds in his favor. Suresh Gopi expressed deep reverence for the "real secular Godpeople" of Thrissur, emphasizing their pivotal role in his victory. He also thanked activists from Thrissur, Ernakulam, and other districts and states who tirelessly campaigned on his behalf.

In a heartfelt statement, Suresh Gopi expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you to the activists of Thrissur who have given back five times what I asked for in the last five years."
