Manjummel Boys OTT Release: This year, the Malayalam film industry is witnessing remarkable success at the box office, with three major hits in just two months.

Among them, "Manjummel Boys," a survival thriller, stands out by surpassing the Rs. 100 crore milestone within 12 days of its release on February 22. As of Monday (March 4), the film has amassed over Rs. 100 crore worldwide, showcasing its immense popularity and box office prowess.

Since its release, the movie "Manjummel Boys" has been causing a sensation at the box office, achieving staggering collections both domestically and overseas. Directed by Chidambaram, this survival thriller follows a group of friends from Manjummel, Kochi, and is based on a real-life incident that occurred in 2006 at Guna Caves in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu.

In 2006, a group of friends from Kerala ventured to Guna Caves in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu. During their excursion, a youngster inadvertently falls into a deep cave. The tale of "Manjummel Boys" chronicles the valiant efforts of the remaining friends to rescue him.

Viewers are rushing to see this film, designed to captivate audiences throughout its runtime. Within just 12 days, global earnings surpassed Rs. 100 crore, marking "Manjummel Boys" as the fourth Malayalam film to achieve this milestone.

Previously, 'Pulimurugan', 'Lucifer', and '2018: Everyone is a Hero' exceeded Rs. 100 crores in collections. Among these, the 2018 film emerged as the top-grossing Malayalam movie, raking in Rs. 177 crore. Now, 'Manjummel Boys' aims to surpass that record. The film has not only captivated audiences in Kerala but also in Tamil Nadu, garnering Rs. 5 crore in collections on Monday (March 4) alone, indicative of its widespread acclaim.

Manjummel Boys OTT Release Details

This highly successful Malayalam movie premiered on February 22. Disney Plus Hotstar has secured the OTT rights for "Manjummel Boys." Sources suggest that the film will debut on this OTT platform during the second week of April.

In addition to "Manjummel Boys," Malayalam films such as Naslen's "Premalu" and Mammootty's "Bramayugam" have also enjoyed tremendous success this year. Tovino Thomas' "Anweshippin Kandethum" also garnered respectable earnings. Among these, "Anweshippin Kandethum" is set to arrive on Netflix on March 8.

Chidambaram, known for directing 'Jan.E.Man', helmed the project 'Manjummel Boys'. "Manjummel Boys" stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Deepak Parambol, Ganapathi, Lal Jr., Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Arun Kurian, Khalid Rahman, Chandu Salimkumar, and Vishnu Reghu in key roles.

On the technical side, Shyju Khalid served as the cinematographer, and Vivek Harshan was the editor. Sushin Shyam handled the music, while Ajayan Chalissery served as the art director. Mashar Hamsa was responsible for costume design, and Ronex Xavier worked as the makeup artist.
