In 2022, on the occasion of MT Vasudevan Nair's birthday, celebrations were in full swing on the set of "Olavum Theeravum," one of his most renowned stories adapted for the series. The cast and crew, including Mohanlal, joined to honour the prolific writer's legacy on his birthday.

Recently, exciting updates from the long-awaited anthology series have surfaced, revealing its official title as "Manorathangal." The series promises to redefine storytelling in the Malayalam OTT space. Each of the nine episodes corresponds to a different literary masterpiece by MT Vasudevan Nair, offering viewers a glimpse into his profound narratives.

The anticipation builds as the official trailer for "Manorathangal" is set to premiere on July 15th, coinciding with MT Vasudevan Nair's birthday. The trailer launch event will take place in Kochi, drawing attention from across the industry and beyond. According to sources, the series is scheduled for release during Onam 2024, exclusively on Zee5.

The series title was reportedly coined by MT himself.
