Aagathan Story
Agathan movie tells the story of retired Major General Hareendra Natha Varma (Sathyaraj) and Gautham Menon (Dileep) who is a software engineer. His father was Mukundan Menon, a bank employee working in Srinagar. His mother was Sujatha and sister Amritha. He lost his members of the family in a terrorist attack. During that period Major Hareendranatha Varma was on duty in Srinagar. After the incident Gautham decided to leave Srinagar. On his way to Bangalore he met a girl named Shreya (Charmi). After the journey incidentally he met Shreya several times at Bangalore. She was an MBA student. She had an inclination to Gautham. But he was least interested in loving her. One day Shreya took him to her house. Her father Major Hareendranatha Varma, mother (Zarina Wahab) and grand mother (Valsala Menon) liked Gautham. They wished Gautham to be Shreya’s husband. One day Gautham revealed a secret to Major and story turns.

Aagathan literally means the one who comes. This Kamal movie can be categorized as an entertaining film with lots of interesting moments. A fully thriller movie with good humour as well as suspense. At some point one feels it to be an imaginative one but still its nice to watch.
Gautham (Dileep) is the CEO of an company. He happens to meet Shreya (Charmy Kaur), a management student during a bus journey. As usual she hates him first and apparently falls in love with him. Shreya wish to meet Gautham to her parents and takes him to her home. Her father Hareendra Varma (Sathyaraj) is a Retd General. Her mother Malathi Thampuratti (Zarina Wahab) is a house wife. Both of them likes Gautham and agrees to the marriage proposal by Gautham.
But soon the happiness in the family is completely destroyed. Hareendra Varma comes to know that Gautham did all this purposely to seek revenge. Why did he do so???What grudge he has to the Hareendran family? All these combine to form the climax of the film.
