    Critics Review

    • Manju Warrier justifies why she has been tagged as one among best actresses of the industry. In fact, she had to initially face some criticisms which were drawn based on her looks from the film and a few sequences from the trailer. But, after watching the entire film, you would understand that she has turned out to be the best choice for the role of Madhavikutty.

Kamal has pulled it off and packaged a product which is poetic right from the first frame. It wouldn't be wrong to tag Aami as one of the finest products of Kamal, the film-maker. He takes his own time to travel through the life of Madhavikutty, without delving much into her personal life. The script is well-layered and it addresses the audiences with utmost sincerity. At the same time, the fictional elements added to it does work out pretty well.

Mollywood's good association with biopics continue with Aami, which offers a poetic journey through the life of one of the prolific writers of Kerala.
