Chenkol Story

Chenkol movie is the sequel to the film Kireedom. The movie begins with the release of Sethumadhavan (Mohanlal) from prison, after having served his time for the murder of Keerikkadan Jose. Sethu returns to his village. His mother is bed-ridden and it is his sister Latha (Usha) who supports the entire family. Sethu earnestly desires to help his family and lead a quiet life. His past, however, makes that all the more difficult.

The family of Keerikkadan Jose seeks revenge for his murder. They attack Sethu and leave him gravely wounded. Keerikkadan's wife Madhuri (Shanti Krishna) and her daughter Indu (Surabhi) find him and assist him, unaware that Sethu is Keerikadan's murderer. Indu becomes attracted to Sethu and her love for him remains strong even after she discovers the dark truth. The tension between the families intensifies. Sethu decides he must move his family from the village and confront his adversaries one last time.
