D Company Story

D Company is a solely action-oriented anthology based movie. It has been directed by three different directors - M Padmakumar, Vinod Vijayan and Diphan. The three featurettes were Oru Bolivian Diary 1995, Gangs Of Vadakkumnathan and Day Of Judgement. Oru Bolivian Diary 1995 is direcetd by M Padmakumar. The film has Samuthirakkani, Nairain, Ananya and Asif Ali playing lead roles.

Story in detail...

The movie, which is set in a tribal habitat deep down the jungle, is about a North Indian Maoist leader Chaukidar (Samuthirakani) who comes to Wayanad to spread his doctrines among the local tribes. The plot is about a hunt for the leader by a police inspector (Narain), who narrates the story to a reporter (Ananya) 15 years after the incident. Asif Ali plays Chinnan, a tribal youth who initially gets fascinated by Chaukidar and later develops strong emotional ties with him.
