Trishna is an 80's hit movie drected by I V Sasi and scripted by M T Vasudevan Nair. Mammoootty was the hero of the film. Now the directer I V Sasi and scriptewriter M T remade the film same title. Young super star Prithviraj is the hero in the movie. Trishna had two hit songs in it 'Sruthiyil Ninnuyarum' and Mainkam' both of which would be remixed and used in the film
