Utopiayile Rajavu Story

Utopiayile Rajavu malayalam movie is said to be political satire from the ace directer Kamal, Movie stars Megastar Mammootty and Jewel Mary in the lead role. Mammootty and Kamal teaming up for a movie after a long gap of 9 years, all of kamal's earlier project with Mammootty was blockbusters. Swanthanthran(Mammootty) is an innocent and honest young man from the village named Kokrangara. Utopiayile Rajavu depicts the current social and political scenarios of Kerala in a humorous way. The film is produced by Haseeb Haneef and Noushad Alathur under the banner of Grande Film Corporation and is distributed by Play House Release. Music of Utopiayile Rajavu is composed by the renowned musician Ouseppachan and songs are penned by PS Rafeeq. DOP is controlled by Neil D’Cunha; who earlier cinematographed Ni Ko Nja Cha, Housefull, Doore, Philips and the Monkey Pen, Monkeys and Ennum Eppozhum. The movie revolves around the imaginary village Kokkrankara. CP Swathanthran (Mammootty) is the son of a freedom fighter. His paternal cousin (Sunil Sukhadha) snatches the ancestral properties after the death of the father. Swathanthran is funnily called as 'Utopiayile Rajavu' by the villagers, due to his innocent nature and peculiar name. Things take a different turn when he decides to place a statue of his father in Kokkrankara junction. Then he meets Umadevi (Jewel Mary), a social worker. What happens next forms the rest of the plot.
