Jyothirmayi - concentrating on her roles

Jyothirmayi is starring in a Tamil movie Periyar, in which her character is Nagammai. She is one of the best actresses who truly lives the characters she performs.

She stepped into Kollywood by performing an item number in Idhaya Thirudan. After that, she played the heroine in Thalainagaram.

According to her, it is an honour for her to act in the movie Periyar and the character also holds much potential for her.

She said that she was a little shaken when she got the opportunity but it was the crew of the movie who made her confident and she is now able to handle the role competently.

She is also the female lead role opposite Vijayakanth in Sabari. She is going to fly to Bangkok for a song sequence.
