Vimala Raman in Malayalam too

Vimala Raman, an Australian NRI's debut Tamil film, Poi is going to be released today. She wants to enter the Malayalam film industry too.

She says she grew up watching Malayalam movies, and likes them for their realistic themes.

In Poi; directed by Balachander, she plays the female lead against Geethu Mohandas.
