Chennai, hotspot for Malayalam films

Chennai has been the location for the shooting of several Malayalam films recently.

Mammootty's film, Ore Kadal was shot in Chennai. Similarly Mohanlal's film, Alibhai was shot on the outskirts of Chennai.

Now Mohanlal's Rock&Roll will also be shot in the city. The musical, earlier titled as Sound of Music will have Mohanlal play a drummer.
