Dileep's Calcutta News on Diwali

Most festive releases include films starring all big stars of the Malayalam film industry. However, Dileep will not have any Ramzan release. His much-anticipated movie, Calcutta News, was supposed to hit theatres this Ramzan, but got delayed and will now hit theatres on Deepavali.

Dileep plays the role of a TV programme producer-cum-reporter named Ajith Thomas, son of a former football player. The movie showcases the development that takes place in Ajith's life when he meets a girl named Krishnapriya (Meera Jasmine).
