Mammootty wins Christmas race!

Finally, Mammootty tastes a victory after a long gap through his recently released Katha Parayumbol, a full fledged comedy flick. The Mammootty - Sreenivasan starrer opened well in 40 centers all across the state last Friday.

Directed by debutant M Mohanan, the film is a comical satire on the lives and relationship between a filmy superstar and a village barber. The movie also announces the return of the old time big banner seven arts to film distribution. Veteran actors like Mukesh and Srinivasan produced the movie under their new banner Lumiere cinema. It also has Meena pairing up with Sreenivasan after the big hit Udhayannanu Tharam.
However, it is sad to say that the other films released for this Christmas, Mohan Lal's Flash, Dileep's Romeo and Prithvi Raj's Kangaroo are not flicked well in the Box Office!
