Shrinivasan plays Mammootty card again

Writing wonderful scripts is almost like child's play for Shrinivasan. It therefore is only natural that he got very upset when his film with Mammootty, Bhargava Charitam Moonam Khandam failed at the box office. Shrinivasan had a huge resounding hit with Yes Your Honor. Now, he's getting ready to make a new film with Mammootty in the lead.

This time around, Shrinivasan has decided to produce the film too, along with writing the screenplay and starring in it. Search is now on to find a co-producer. The film is going to be directed by Shrinivasan's brother-in-law (wife's brother). It is not clear yet when the film's shooting would begin.

Concerning the superstar, he had been acting in Malayalam films for years, but Kavya Madhavan never quite graduated to being the superstars' heroine. Of course, there are some films in which she had appeared as their sister. But that was all. Finally, she is going to be the heroine of Mammooty in Nasrani, the new film. Ranjit and Joshi are teaming up to make this film.

Just about all the leading heroines in Malayalam had acted with the superstars. Even Meera Jasmine, who had once remained adamant about not working with them, too changed her mind and was more than willing to work with Mohanlal in Rasatantram (which became one of the biggest hits of 2006) and with Mammooty in Orey Kadal. Gopika too has had acted in some films. Padhmapriya is almost a regular feature in the superstars' films. Only Kavya was left. Now that she has accepted an offer with Mammooty, it is only a mater of time before she starts to act with Mohanlal too.
