<i>Manichitrathaazh</i> in Hindi

After a lot of delay, the Hindi version of Manichitrathaazh is all set to commence. Priyadarshan is going to direct the film. Finally, the film's producer has made his mind up about the cast too. Akshay Kumar and Vidhya Balan are playing the lead roles. Its not clear yet who the other two important stars are. There are talks that two Malayalam stars are also going to work in the film.

Priyadarshan recently had turned up at the farewell party of sorts that was conducted for Jyothika. This was at the music launch of the new Jyothika starrer Mozhi. Prithviraj had played the male lead in the film. Priyadarshan was the one who had directed her debut film in Hindi. The director had lot of wonderful things to say about Jyothika.

"You're the best," was how he described her.
