Meera gets her turn with Mammootty

Director Shyam Prasad's new film Orey Kadal is making the entire film industry sit up and take notice thanks to its impressive star cast.

Mammooty is going to play the lead role. For the first time in her career, Meera Jasmine gets an opportunity to work with him. Last year she starred with Mohanlal. This year, it is the turn of the other superstar. Naren, who has become one of the most promising heroes in Tamil, returns to Malayalam with this film.

Shyam Prasad says that the film's shooting would begin in March this year. Hyderabad is the main location for the film.

According to unconfirmed sources, though Mammooty is the hero, it is Naren whom Meera Jasmine gets to romance.

Vindhyan of Radhika Entertainment is producing the film.
