MG Sasi directs Jyothirmayi

MG Sasi is making his debut as a film director with Adayallangal starring Jyothirmayi and newcomer Govind Padmasurya in the lead. MG Sasi is a noted telefilm maker, who has also worked as a long-time associate of veteran directors TV Chandran, PT Kunju mohammad and Shyam Prasad.

Adayallangal, produced under the banner of Valluvanaadan Talkies, is based on the life of Nandanar, a popular Malayalam novelist. Nandanar joined the army at age sixteen and wrote several books based on his experiences as a soldier.
