Mohanlal romancing Vimala

College Kumaran, being directed by Thulasidas and scripted by Suresh Poduval, is currently being shot in the capital. The movie revolves around the story of an ex-military officer Kumaran, played by Mohanlal, who is forced to take up the job of a college canteen supervisor. Vimala Raman plays the female lead.

Balachandran Menon plays an important role in the film which also stars Siddique, Salim Kumar, Sai Kumar, Suraj Venjaranmoodu, Shamna and Laskhmi Krishnamurthy. Ouseppachan helms the music for this film slated for release on January 26, 2008.
