Mohanlal tips the scale

College Kumaran is the name of the new film starring Mohanlal who is playing the lead role. There already are interesting rumors about the film. According to unconfirmed reports, the superstar is all set to play the role of a college student in this film. We don't know how true that is but there are confirmed reports that he has created a record when it comes to remuneration.

Rs 1.25 crores is the pay that he has received for the film- an amount never heard of before in Malayalam films.

Fairy Queen Productions is making the film. Emil and Eric are the main distributors. Tulasidas is the director. The film's shooting begins in July, to give ample time for Mohanlal to prepare for the role. Meanwhile, Mohanlal is planning to also work in director Lohitadas' new film. The two had previously worked together in a film named Kanmadham. Their new film will most likely Mohanlal's Vishu release next year. Lohi is busy these days with Nivedhyam.
