Mohanlal stars Sholay 2nd schedule

Bollywood is full of news that director/producer Ramgipal Varma's new film Sholay is almost ready to be released. But it turns out that the film's shooting is still not complete. Mohanlal is playing the role that Sanjeev Kumar had starred in, in the original Sholay. He had given plenty of callsheets last year for the film but due to various circumstances, the unit wasn't able to complete his portions. When his callsheets ended, he had to return to Kerala for his Malayalam films.

He'll soon join the Sholay unit for the next schedule. That will run till the 11th of March. The film is expected to get released sometime this summer, if everything goes right. As soon as he completes his Sholay shoot, Mohanlal will join the crew of Kunhu Mohammed's Paradesi. Some portions of the film still aren't complete.
