Ore Kadal wins two awards

Shyam Prasad's Ore Kadal was recently screened at the Indian Panorama section of the 38th International Film Festival of India held at Goa. The movie was then screened at the International Film Festival of Kerala which came to a close on December 14, 2007.

Ore Kadal, starring Mammootty and Meera Jasmine in the lead, tells the story of an economist and his illicit relationship with a homemaker. The movie also bagged two awards, the FIPRESCI award for best Malayalam film and the NETPAC award for best Malayalam film at the 12th edition of the IFFK.
