Actress
Padmapriya
is
on
top
of
the
world,
having
bagged
Filmfare
Awards
recently
for
her
performance
in
Karutha
Pakshikal,
which
has
Mammootty
as
her
hero.
She
plays
matured
roles
most
of
the
time
but
her
approach
on
glamour
is
quite
different.
She
thinks
that
there
is
no
harm
in
using
body
as
a
property.
“After
the
very
docile
girl
in
Thavamai,
I
had
to
provide
some
shock
value
to
the
audience.
When
Demi
Moore
does
a
striptease,
we
don"t
call
it
vulgar.
In
fact,
I
loved
her
in
the
film.
And
when
you
have
the
body,
what"s
the
harm
in
using
it
as
a
prop,
be
it
in
a
saree
or
a
dress?
But
I
don"t
agree
with
doing
it
for
titillation",
says
the
actress.
She
acts
opposite
senior
actors
like
Mammootty
and
Mohanlal
most
of
the
time,
and
thus
missing
out
young
and
energetic
roles.
She
does
feel
she
should
have
done
more
films
with
young
actors
earlier
in
her
career
but
she
has
no
regrets
because
good
roles
go
to
only
big
actors
in
Malayalam.
She
said
that
she
has
learned
a
lot
from
the
senior
actors.
