Adoor's Film: Thakazhi's Stories

Veteran director Adoor Gopalakrishnan is making a film based on three short stories by noted writer Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai.

The director has signed Mohanlal for the film, being produced by Doordarshan.

Though the filmmaker had worked with National award winner Mammootty in three movies, he will be directing Mohanlal for the first time.

The movie also casts Padmapriya, Nanditha Das and Jagathi Sreekumar and will hit the floors in March.
