Ravi Menon died of cancer

Veteran actor Ravi Menon, died on Saturday morning in a hospital at Perinthalmana. The 57-year-old actor, who was suffering from cancer since a long time, was admitted to the hospital on Friday.

Ravi Menon made his debut into acting with M.T. Vasudevan Nair"s Nirmalyam in 1973, which bagged him a state government special jury award for his role. He has acted in more than 50 films which include Naduvazhikal, Shalini Ente Kootukari, Manthrikam, Shyama, Radha Enna Penkutty, Oyaragal and Indrajalam.

He also appeared in some tele-serials and has acted in a Hindi film, Duvidha, in 1973.
