As

already
reported,
Simran's
appearance
in
Heartbeats
has
not
only
shocked
her
fans
but
the
actress
too
was
shocked
to
learn
about
the
portrayal
of
her
part
in
that
film.
The
actress
said
that
she
was
portrayed
as
a
HIV
positive
patient,
without
her
consent,
in
her
re-debut
Malayalam
film.
"To
compensate
for
this
misdemeanour,
the
producer
and
the
director
have
to
pay
Rs.2
crores
to
me;
otherwise
I
will
sue
them,
the
actress
warned!
The
film
has
been
produced
by
Jolly
Joseph
and
directed
by
Vinu
Anand.
Simran
plays
the
role
of
a
mysterious
woman
who
becomes
the
object
of
infatuation
for
a
young
doctor
played
by
Inderjith
(brother
of
actor
Prithiviraj),
in
the
film.
According
to
Simran,
she
had
a
difference
of
opinion
with
the
producer
while
shooting
for
the
film
at
Kochi,
and
reportedly
walked
out
of
the
sets.
However,
the
film
was
completed
inspite
of
her
absence,
and
released
recently
in
Kerala.
After
coming
to
know
about
the
portrayal
of
her
role,
Simran
was
shell-shocked,
and
summoned
her
lawyers
for
consultations
to
curb
the
screening
of
'Heartbeats'.
The
actress
says,
"The
story
of
the
film
has
been
altered
and
it
is
entirely
different
from
the
script
which
was
narrated
to
me.
Despite
being
cast
alongside
newcomers,
I
gave
my
approval
because
I
was
really
impressed
with
the
original
script.
But
when
the
director
seemed
to
be
deviating
from
it
at
the
time
of
the
shooting,
I
decided
to
discontinue
my
assignment.
I
have
not
watched
the
film
as
yet.
But
if
there
is
any
truth
in
this
report,
I
will
be
consulting
my
lawyers
to
file
a
case
against
the
director
and
the
producer
for
bringing
disrepute
to
my
name.
I
have
evidence
in
the
form
of
the
complete
original
script
and
the
agreement
letter
to
substantiate
my
case."
But
the
producer
has
claimed
that
the
actress
had
received
the
full
payment,
and
they
have
the
right
to
complete
the
film
as
they
wanted
it
to
be.
Jolly
said,
"Since
the
actress
had
refused
to
cooperate
with
the
crew
even
though
full
salary
for
the
assignment
was
paid
to
her,
she
has
violated
the
agreement
that
she
had
signed.
I
am
ready
to
fight
any
form
of
a
legal
battle
with
Simran..."
Now
one
can
expect
a
litigation
saga
unfold
between
the
actress
and
the
producer,
more
interesting
than
the
script
of
Heartbeats!
