Simran threatened her producer

Simran planned to make her comeback with the Malayalam film Heartbeats. However, due to the differences between her and the director, she backed out of the project before its completion. Despite her absence, the film was completed and released in Kerala.

Simran was shocked to know that she has been projected as an HIV patient in the film and has threatened the producers with legal action. She also said that the script of the film was entirely different from the one narrated to her.

The movie, starring Indrajeet in the lead, has been produced by Jolly Joseph and directed by Vinu Anand.
