The Kerala High Court has stayed the release of Suresh Gopi's film Black Cat, which is expected to hit the theatres this Onam.

The much-delayed film Black Cat by Vinayan movie has been delayed further due to some financial troubles. Goodway Film Corporation, the producers of Black Cat allegedly has to pay a sum of Rs.75 lakhs to Ullattil Media people. So, U.Sashidharan of Ullattil Media has filed a case in Kerala High Court, seeking stay on the release of the movie this Onam.

The judges had imposed an interim stay on the release of the film till further orders are made. Owing to this problem, the film is unlikely to make it to the theatres on Onam. Suresh Gopi plays the role of Black servant in this film. Now, all his hopes rest on his next film Kitchamani MBA, which is also slated for Onam.
