Suresh Gopi in first Bollywood film

When Major Ravi's Keerthichakra turned out to be a phenomenal hit at the box office, speculations began that he'd soon direct Mammootty in his next film. There also were talks that the next film too will be a war-flick but Major Ravi has a huge surprise in store for everybody. His next film is going to be a bilingual in Malayalam and Hindi (probably inspired by the idea of saving Priyadarshan the task of remaking it in Hindi later). Dileep is playing the lead role in the film. Now if Dileep is acting in the role, it cant quite be a serious one. This one is a full-length comedy film.

Santosh Damodharan is the producer. He also is most likely to produce another film with Major Ravi after this one. The team hasn't picked up a name yet for the film with Dileep. Shooting begins on the 25th of this month in Pune and Mumbai. The rest of the cast includes Rajpal Yadav, Om Puri, Baby Niranjana and others. Santosh Damodharan's previous film was the controversial Lanka.
