Priyamani's love towards Malluwood

The Kerala based actress Priyamani told that Malayalam films are far superior to movies of any other language in the South. Recently, she won the National Award for her performance in Ameer's Paruthi Veeran, a Tamil movie.

Now she said, "Though I got best actress award in Tamil, I always consider Malayalam Film Industry is the best in the south. Don't understand me wrongly. None in Malayalam Industry is compelling artists to act in the scenes. They allow us to perform naturally. But in other languages, directors always teach the artists to act. That is why talented artists are very rare in Tamil and Telugu. In Paruthi Veeran, I didn't perform on my own. I simply reflected what Ameer taught."

Introduced by Bharathi Raja in Kangalal Kaithu Sei, the actress has to wait for 3 long years to get her first break in Ameer's Paruthi Veeran. Ameer shows the actress in different angle and after the release of Paruthi Veeran, Priyamani became one of the top class actresses in overnight. Now she is getting nearly 45 lakhs per film in Tamil.
