Ajmal lets his action speak

Young and upcoming actor Ajmal Ameer, who was introduced in Pranayakaalam and later played a key role in the Tamil film Anjathe directed by Mysskin, is a busy guy today both in Tamil and Malayalam films.

He is now looking forward to Maadambi in Malayalam, where he shares screen space with superstar Mohanlal. He enacts the role of Gopalakrishna Pillai's (Mohanlal) younger brother Ramakrishnan. It is heard that Ajmal has come out with a power-packed performance in Maadambi.

In Tamil, he is busy with TN 09 AL 4777, directed by Lakshmikanthan and produced by G.V. Films Private Limited, the remake of the Bollywood hit Taxi No 9211, in which he plays the role of John Abraham. He has many emotional scenes with Pasupathy, who is playing the role made memorable by Nana Patekar. Pretty actress Meenakshi, who was last seen in Karan-starrer Karuppasamy Kuthigaitharar, is the heroine.

Ajmal, a doctor by profession, has also been pencilled to play the action hero's role in a film which will be shot by ace cameraman Nirav Shah. The man from Aluva near Kochi, Ajmal is determined to make it as action hero in Tamil too.
