Annan Thampi declared a hit

Annan Thampi, the Mammootty movie which was released on 17th April, is confirmed as a hit from the pretty decent initial collections in all centres.

Earlier, the release of the movie, directed by Anwar Rasheed, was fixed on Vishu (April 14), but later, it was postponed to April 17 due to the incompletion of some graphic works in the flick. It was a very risky decision to delay the Vishu release, but the first response from the theatres shows that the decision to delay the movie has paid off.

The film, scripted by Benny P. Nayarambalam, tells the story of two brothers, Appu and Achchu, with both roles enacted by superstar Mammootty.
