Babu Antony comes back in style

Babu Antony returns to the film world after a long gap through 9 K.K. Road which is an action thriller. He plays the role of a brave and honest police officer in this film produced and directed by Simon Kuruvilla under the banner of Sun Pictures.

A business magnate Chacko Masthiri and his family members are murdered. To find the murderers, police officer Devadas is appointed. Since the officer is very brave and sincere, the enemies get worried and try to eliminate him. Devadas, knowing that the murderers are strong and have political clout, never gives up. Secretly, he finds out that they are VIPs who pretended to be nice before the society but in reality they help criminals. After finding the culprits, he traps them and they are truly caught without any escape.

C.K Sasi has written the story; script and dialogues are by Kaloor Dennis; Sohan Roy and Subhash Cherthala are the lyricists; music is scored by S.P. Venkatesh. The cast includes Vijaya Raghavan, Nishanth Sagar, Shammi Thilakan, Sadique, Mala Aravindan, Shamna Kasim, Kolapulli Leela and others. Other than the artistes, some of the political leaders from Kerala show their histrionics in this film. They are C.K. Padmanaban, P.C .George, T.N. Pradapan and V.N. Vasavan.
