The

schedule

Vineeth-Kavya
Madhavan
starrer
Banaras,
being
directed
by
Nemam
Pushparaj
of
Gowri
Sankaram
fame,
will
begin
at
Parassala,
one
of
the
prominent
towns
in
Thiruvananthapuram
district,
from
November
17
onwards.
Udiyankugara
near
Neyyatinkara
is
yet
another
location.
In
this
film,
Vineeth
acts
as
Hari,
a
research
student
on
folk
dances,
while
Kavya
Madhavan
is
Amritha,
a
classical
dancer.
This
is
the
first
time
Kavya
Madhavan
plays
a
classical
dancer
in
her
career.
Mulla
fame
Meera
Nandhan
also
plays
an
important
role
in
this
film,
produced
by
M.R.
Nair
under
the
banner
of
Kashi
films.
Banaras
is
an
offbeat
love
story,
flowering
in
the
backdrop
of
pilgrim
centres
in
Varanasi,
one
of
world's
oldest
living
cities
and
the
religious
capital
of
India.
The
film,
giving
equal
importance
to
music
will
also
have
some
brilliantly-choreographed
dance
sequences.
The
other
cast
members
include
Jagathy
Sreekumar,
Nedumudi
Venu,
Devan,
Bineesh
Kodiyeri,
Harisree
Asokan
and
Suraj
Vejaramoodu.

Jayachandran
sets
music
to
