Bharathi in Malayalam cinema

Bharathi, who is the latest sensation in Kollywood, is finally drifting into the direction of Malayalam cinema. This beauty rose to fame with her daring role of a sex worker in the memorable film Ammuvagiya Naan, which was a big hit in Tamil Nadu and had a reasonable run in Kerala also.

Now, Bharathi is coming to Kerala with her new film Aayudham directed by M.A Nishad. The actress is one of the heroines opposite noted Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi. She has already started shooting for the movie and is pretty happy with the role that she has been assigned.

The actress was disappointed when she could not give dates for Annan Thampi in which she was offered a role with Mammootty. The role of Kanimozhi which Bharathi was supposed to play was later assigned to Lakshmi Rai. The film went on to become one of the biggest hits in recent times.
