Director
Vinayan,
Chairman
of
Malayalam
Cine
Technicians
Association
(MACTA),
has
denied
media
reports
that
the
Association
had
enforced
a
ban
on
all
Dileep
films
in
the
state
on
the
basis
of
a
complaint
from
director
Thulasidas,
accusing
that
Dileep
has
walked
out
from
a
film
after
taking
payment
of
Rs.
40
lakhs
four
years
back.
MACTA,
that
comprises
18
different
sections
of
Malayalam
film
industry
workers,
right
from
drivers
to
directors,
has
only
forwarded
this
complaint
to
the
Association
of
Malayalam
Movie
Artistes
(AMMA),
he
added.
"The
media
report
that
we
have
called
a
ban
on
all
Dileep
films
is
wrong.
Instead,
we
have
only
taken
up
this
complaint
with
AMMA," said
Vinayan.
AMMA
president
Innocent
has
agreed
that
MACTA
has
written
to
it
about
this
issue.
"We
will
react
to
this
in
two
days'
time," he
said.
However,
Dileep
is
yet
to
react
on
this
issue.
