Dileep tonsures head for Mulla

Dileep is one actor who started out as a comedian and later impressed everyone with his histrionic abilities. The actor, in recent years, has shown a liking for films with serious subjects.

Even his latest release, Blessy's Calcutta News, is one such effort where the actor appears as a crime reporter. In his next film too, Dileep will be playing a serious role. The film, Mulla, is directed by Lal Jose and is set against the backdrop of a railway colony. The film brings the dark side of a railway colony to the screen and deals with characters who are prostitutes and robbers.

Lal Jose and Dileep share a great chemistry. Their first film together, Meesa Madhavan was a commercial entertainer which took Dileep to the masses. The director then turned Dileep into a character with feminine shades in the highly entertaining Chandupottu. Now, three years later, the director will be bringing to us a tonsured Dileep.

Yes. The actor will appear tonsured in Mulla where he plays robber. To add more depth to the character, Dileep decided to tonsure his head. The actor recently got his head tonsured in Pazhani. Giving him company were the director Lal Jose and the scriptwriter Sindhuraj, who too tonsured their heads along with their hero. Now, what do you call that? Team spirit!
