Doctor Patient starts shooting

Young director Viswanathan's Doctor Patient, starring Jayasuriya in the title role as a psychiatrist, produced by Nandigram Ram Prasad under the banner of A.R. International, has already started rolling at Kochi from the end of November.

The movie will shift its location to Peermedu and Wagamon after completing the shooting at Kochi. Mukesh plays another psychiatrist and the film promises to be a fun-filled entertainer. Radha Varma, a Telugu girl, is the heroine she dons the role of the manager of a mental sanitarium where Dr. Ruben Issac (Jayasuriya) is a psychiatrist. It is the first time in his career that Jayasuriya, known for his light-hearted comic roles, dons the role of a psychiatrist.

Others in the cast include Jagathy Sreekumar, Sooraj Venjaranmoodu and Nedumudi Venu. The script is also handled by the director. M.J. Radhakrishnan is the cinematographer and music is by Bennett Veetrag. Doctor Patient is the second venture of director Viswanathan, M.Sc. (Psychology), who debuted with Out Of Syllabus.
