Jayasurya has started treating Mukesh

Young director Viswanathan's Doctor-Patient, starring Jayasurya and Mukesh in the title roles as a doctor and his patient, has started rolling at Kochi. The movie will shift its location to Peermedu and Wagamon after completing the shoots at Kochi.

Nikhitha of Kaiyetthum Doorathu fame is the heroine; she dons the role of the manager of a mental sanitorium where Dr. Ruben Issac (Jayasurya) is working as a psychiatrist. Mukesh plays the role of his patient.

Others in the cast include Jagathy Sreekumar, Sooraj Venjaranmoodu and Nedumudi Venu. The script is also handled by the director. The film is produced by Nandigram Ram Prasad under the banner of A.R. International.
