Gopika ties the final knot

Actress Gopika married Dr. Ajilesh on July 17, 2008. Earlier, they were betrothed on July 13, 2008 at a grand function held at Joyce Palace Hotel.

Ajilesh is a doctor who practices medicine in Ireland. He was born to P.P. Chacko and Thankamma from Kerala.

The marriage took place at Mar Thoma Cheriya Church, a popular pilgrimage centre for Christians in Kerala. They were solemnized by the head priest of the Church.

When Gopika walked to the altar, she personified elegance. Later, the couple exchanged their marriage vows. The joy of the marriage and expectations and the bridal gown enhanced Gopika"s beauty manifold. It was spectacular when the newly-married couple walked the aisle on their way out.

The couple was greeted by many VIPs from the film industry and political world of Kerala. A grand wedding reception will be held on July 20.
