Gopika doesn't want to get old

Can any actress be happy if she is addressed as Chechi (Akka in Tamil, meaning elder sister) in public? No, never! Because it sounds that the actress is older or elder. Gopika, one of the leading actresses in Mollywood and Kollywood, also does not like to be called in this manner.

Gopika has already ordered Poorna not to address her as Chechi! Who is Poorna? Poorna, whose previous name was Shamna Kasim, had acted opposite Mammootty and Mohanlal in Malayalam films and is the latest heroine migrated from Malayalam to Tamil. She is playing the lead role opposite Bharath in Muniyandi Vilangiyal Mundram Aandu as Tamarai.

Being a Malayali by birth, Poorna is very close to Gopika, who is nothing short of a role model for her. They both hail from the same state and in fact, Gopika is senior to Poorna in Tamil. Hence, Poorna always addressed Gopika as 'Chechi'.

After all, it's a matter of interest. The person has to decide how he/ she should be addressed in public. So, we cannot interfere!
