and
among
the
most
hilarious
movies
in
Indian
cinema.

In
Harihar
Nagar
is
the
story
of
four
young
men
Mahadevan
(Mukesh),
Govindan
Kutty
(Siddique),
Appukuttan
(Jagadish)
and
Thomas
Kutty
(Asokan),
who
live
together
in
Harihar
Nagar.
The
story
begins
with
the
arrival
of
lovely
Maya
(Geetha
Vijayan)
to
a
nearby
house.
The
four
of
them
are
instantly
smitten
and
decide
to
pursue
her.
They
try
to
woo
the
girl
by
planning
to
charm
her
grandparents
and
thus
winning
their
trust.
Those
attempts
have
hilarious
consequences.
But
Maya
is
in
town
to
investigate
the
mysterious
circumstances
surrounding
the
death
of
her
brother
(Sureshgopi).
In
an
attempt
to
win
Maya's
heart,
these
four
guys
convince
Maya
that
they
knew
her
brother
very
well
and
that
they
were
his
close
friends.
Then
the
movie
veers
into
serious
territory
involving
a
villain,
John
Honai
(Riza
Bava),
who
was
also
responsible
for
the
murder
of
Andrew,
a
friend
of
the
girl's
brother.
