Mani fights communal forces

Kalabhavan Mani is going to play the lead character in Bada Bhai directed by debutant Shyam. The pooja of the film was held at Cochin tower recently. The film is set in the backdrop of the communal riots in Gujarat. Mani plays the character of a Malayalee who fight against the communal forces during the riots. The director makes it clear that the character is completely fictional.

The screenplay is by he Shah Korani-Hameed team and is produced under the banner of Kalyanji Films. The movie will also cast Suraj Venjaarmoodu, Salimkumar, Riyaz Khan, Rajan P. Dev, Mala Aravindhan, Indrans, Mamukoya, Machan Varghese, Augustine, Bijukuttan and Jaffer Idukky.
