Mani to win back his Malayalam Audience

Director Shaiju, one of the director duo Shaiju-Shaji who recently made Shakespeare M.A. Malayalam, a feel-good comic escapade starring Jayasurya, Kalabhavan Mani and Bhama in the lead roles, is all set to direct Black and White, his first film as an individual director, casting Kalabhavan Mani and Jayasurya in the key roles.

Meanwhile, his partner Shaji will also direct another yet-to-be-named film in his original name, Shaji Azeez. The script of this film will be handled by Gireesh Kumar.

Apart from Black and White, Kalabhavan Mani has signed two more films Kaliyuga Raman and Malayali. Kaliyuga Raman will be directed by Salim Ketchery, an associate of popular director Shaji Kailas. The movie, produced under the banner of Devika Creations, will launch Rajiv Balakrishan, brother of director Ranjith, as a script writer. The movie is expected to start rolling by the end of next month.

Malayali, where he will be the sole hero, will feature Mani as an innocent villager named Nandhilethu Madhavan. The movie is produced by Real Cinema and directed by debut director V.S. Sudheesh. Jayan Pallaserry handles the script. Shooting will start at Vadakkancheri and Palakkad.
