Kanneerinu Madhuram with Indrajith-Bhama

Raghunath Paleri has named his third directorial venture Kanneerinu Madhuram and shooting is progressing at Malayalam cinema's favourite shooting spot, Ottappalam. Indrajith and Bhama are coming together for the first time as the lead pair. The film also has Jagathy, Nedumudi Venu and Manasa in pivotal roles.

Raghunath Paleri is well-known script writer in Malayalam and has directed two films already. His first venture as director was Onnu Muthal Poojyam Vare featuring Mohanlal which was critically acclaimed. The film also introduced Geethu Mohandas as a child actor. After his first film, Paleri concentrated more on writing scripts and he was highly successful in that arena. He has penned hits like Meleparambil Aanveedu and Vanaprastham. His second film as director was Vismayam featuring Dilip, Innocent and Nedumudi Venu. The film, with a simple storyline with focus on humour, fared poorly in the box office.
