Kozhikode turns film hub

Kozhikode, the northern city in Kerala, is buzzing with the shooting of three films at the same time. The units of megastar Mammootty's Parunthu, Prithviraj's Thirakkatha and multi-starrer Minnaminnikootam are camping in Kozhikode for filming.

Thirakkatha, directed by Ranjit, is shifted to Kozhikode after shooting in Wayanadu, the neighbouring district of Kozhikode.

Kamal's Minnaminnikootam, featuring Meera Jasmine, Roma, Samvrutha and Jayasurya need four days of shooting to complete while Parunthu continues to shoot in Chelavoor. Two units of Parunthu are filming simultaneously to get it ready for release in July.
