Lal Jose entering Tamil films

Director Lal Jose, well known for his numerous classic hits in Mollywood like Meesa Madhavan, Classmates, Arabikkatha and Chanthupottu, is now entering Kollywood for his debut venture.

This untitled movie will tell the story of a village which has acute scarcity of water. The director is planning to bring in Dhanush to play the lead character. If Dhanush finds difficulties to allot dates for this movie, Lal Jose will continue with a group of newcomers. He plans to shoot the movie at Kovilpatti near Thoothukudi.

Penned by James Albert, the movie is produced by an NRI settled at Dubai. After completing this Tamil flick, Lal Jose will team up with Mohanlal for the Malayalam movie Cousins, scripted by Iqbal Kuttipuram.
