Three diehard fans of superstar Mammootty were arrested on Monday by the police for harassing the superstar on the sets of the upcoming film Kuttyshranku in Kollam, where Mammootty and the crew of Kuttyshranku were shooting the second schedule of the film.

Those taken into custody have been identified as Simi Dennis, Roshan Paul and Krishna Kumar. The three, in a drunken state, hugged the actor and troubled him. Two more persons, who were with these three, escaped, a report said.

The second schedule of Kuttyshranku, directed by internationally-acclaimed director Shaji N. Karun, started with the onset of the monsoon to capture the rainy season and is continuing at a brisk pace. Mammootty has three heroines in the film: Bengali actress Kamalinee Mukherjee, Padmapriya and a Srilankan actress. The story is told through the eyes of the three heroines, who, after the death of Kutty (Mammootty), remember him. Mammootty appears in three different get ups.

The film is expected to be completed by the end of November. Produced by Reliance Entertainment under the banner of Big Motion Pictures, this is the first-ever production by Anil Ambani's newly launched entertainment concern in Malayalam.

After the shoot of Kuttyshranku in the second schedule, Mammootty will join the shooting of Love in Bangkok, directed by Rafi Mecartin. Its shooting is expected to begin on October 9th at Karaikudi and other locations of Cochin and Bangkok. The film is planned to be completed within 60 days in one schedule.
